I guess it only figures that people who go for 3D tattoos would also favor the most wrung-out SF/Fantasy cliches.

How great will it be when, 5-10 years from now, implants like these become routine? It will be like this guy tattooed a Betamax on his thigh.
I would LOVE it if this were the same guy. 
Every morning when the bus comes that li’l dude freaks out, clambers down and hides under a trashcan until his master can coax him out and pour him back into his arm. This guy’s literally on his knees during the morning commute, peering under the can and murmuring reassuring noises. He’s already worn out the knees on 3 pairs of pants. (But he’s used to that! HAW!!!)
