Fan Rapper Lupe Fiasco

I’m all aflutter about Lupe Fiasco, whom I just learned about via Chicago Public Radio’s show Sound Opinions.

As a suburban-raised, mid-30s white person, I’m always looking for hip-hop I can enjoy (read: relate to in even the slightest way) so as to have something in common with the kids today. So I got psyched when Sound Opinions hosts Greg Kot and Jim DeRogatis explained that Fiasco likes sci-fi and comics and stuff. And hey! Musically, he’s great! And he collaborates with unexpected people like Fall Out Boy! Fuck you, I happen to like Fall Out Boy!
