David Wong of Cracked.com has sold the movie rights to his novel “John Dies at the End.” As he puts it, “No matter how incredibly retarded your dream is, it can still come true.” It was purchased by — of all the cool people! — Don Coscarelli, the guy who did Bubba Ho Tep and the Phantasm series. Here’s the website for the book.
If I managed to sell the movie rights to my (nonexistent) project, it would probably be to New Line Cinema.
